About

Onyx Hub started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept sending each other App Store links late at night. We got tired of glossy top-ten lists that clearly nobody had actually played, so we decided to write the honest version ourselves.

Everything you read here comes from real playtime. We don't skim a trailer and call it a review — someone on the team installs the game, sits with it for several evenings, and only then opens a text document. If a game didn't grab us, we say so plainly.

Our focus is indie and small-studio releases, because that's where the weird, clever ideas usually hide. We cover every genre we can stomach: racing, strategy, cozy sims, card battlers, puzzles, adventures. Variety keeps us curious.

We're a small independent site with no publisher behind us. That means we move slowly and pick carefully, and we're fine with that.
